Custom Paintings

Bring your story, person, pet or memories to life with a custom made commission painting. Custom paintings capture the mood and feeling of a memory.  It's a life-time piece and a way to share or hold on to those memories. 

THE PROCESS:

1. Fill out the CONTACT US form to get the conversation started.

2. We have a conversation about what you're looking for through email, phone or Zoom call. 

3. We complete the COMMISSIONED ARTWORK CONTRACT, which I will email to you. It details the process, the product, the non-refundable deposit, how to arrive at the "final painting" and shipping. 

4. I send you an initial sketch so that you can approve the general composition.

5. I get to work on the final piece.

6. I submit an emailed photo of the artwork for your approval. 

7. The balance is due upon the completion of the commissioned artwork. 

8. It's shipped to your home.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

1. Paintings are created on gallery wrapped linen canvas with finished edges.  The completed painting can be hung with or without a frame: however, frames are not included.  

2. You need to provide a close-up shot and a distant shot of the well-lit the subject(s) with a well-defined background.  The photo should be a high quality (300 dpi) photo with as much detail as possible. If you prefer, the background can be portrait style with color only. 

3. Oil paintings take time to dry before they can be varnished, so please be patient.  Let me know ahead of time if the painting is required by a certain deadline.

• 18 x 24 - $1,390

• 24 x 36 - $2,790

NOTE: Other sizes available upon request. There is a $75 cost per additional subject.
