Creativity and artistic talent are in the family genes. Growing up on a farm in Colorado contributed to the development of a good work ethic and the sense of adventure found in the family's diverse artistic creations.
Dick and Bobbe grew up in California, became high school sweethearts and married in 1973. They moved to Colorado in 1977. Dick built their farm homes and barns and they raised three children. Dick is a retired builder and full-time farmer. Bobbe took a few art classes during her college years, but is basically a self-taught artist. She retired in 2020 after 33 years of employment and is now living her dream as a full-time artist.
Jennifer graduated from Colorado State University and is a manager at the Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado.
Bud is a master electrician and a self-taught jewelry artist. He works mainly in sterling silver, gem-quality stones and turquoise. He and his wife Brittney live in Cortez, Colorado.
Julie earned her art degree from Mesa State University and has developed her unique artistic style over the past 15 years.
